The Symposium will organize discussion tables about the following
topics:

Personalities in memory: the 150th anniversary of the birth
of Vladimir Bechterev, Alfred Binet and Karl Pearson.

With regard to the one hundred years of the first encounter
between Freud and Jung, let’s talk about psychoanalysis.

Meetings: trends and psychological systems in debate.

A glance to our own past: History of Spanish Psychology.
-
Relationship between theory and praxis: History of applied
psychology.

Taking a step towards reflection: epistemological, psychosocial
and historiography questions for the arena.

History as the basis for the explanation of present psychology:
studies on the development of different concepts, matters, processes,
methods and areas of psychology.
Like in previous years, the works that are not adjusted to the
proposed subjects will be admitted, as long as they have thematic
direct related with the History of Psychology, or a clearly historical
direction.
The scientific contributions are permitted to be in the
form of a speech or a poster. Moreover, they will have to indicate
more suitable location for their work to the discussion table consider.
Nevertheless, the Organizing Committee and the Scientific Committee
will definitively decide about the type of presentation and the
location.
